Reverse

Above is me and my dazzling face at a wedding I attended on the 31st; it went quite well (there was free wine at the reception) and so you can guess I treated myself nicely. Not much to say really, besides that my dress was practically choking me at the end of the night. (Oh and the next day was horrible after 6 glasses of wine…)

In the meantime, it’s been a while since I did a nail post and here I tried my first “Reverse French” mani with black and gold and my dear, it took so much longer than I expected.

I haven’t been doing much.. kind of been on hold with my life. I was sick for a couple of days and uni work has been piling on me (as usual) so I’m just so bleh at this long weekend because I know I have to work yet I see everyone out. I’m still not doing work though. Lucky me!

Benjamin and I are good. We had a fight this morning, a big one, but we’re good now. One thing I’ve learnt from this long relationship is that eventually, after all the small fights, when you’re in a (close to) three year relationship, you’ll end up fighting about that one thing only. We both can tell it’s probably the only thing we’d ever fight about ever, and it’s kinda sad. But hey, relationships right?

Life has been way too normal and routine-y for me lately. I need something to happen! Don’t you just hate that? When your life starts settling down to just work, home, friends, uni, work, home. And sleep. But oh my god, it sucks.

I’m a horrible mess right now.

Avada!

My outfit posts have become lazier and lazier by the post (I’m not making sense) but hey, you still love me long time right? Nah, you don’t, because people are unfollowing me and being the rebellious, badass bitch I am, I don’t care! Bleh! You’re missing out (Please come back). Sorry for the lack of posting guys, it’s my fourth week back at uni and somehow I managed to hand in two assignments already, but now I’m spending my what’s supposed to be “doing work” time as “I’m allowed to watch Harry Potter and scream ‘Avada Kedavra’ at who-ever I want and do a small victory dance when I imagine them as a green flame thing”. Does anyone else agree that Sirius Black’s death was much more well played, directed, more dramatic, more heartfelt than Dumbledore’s? Kind of silly, I think.

Anyway, last night I went to an Asian concert (free tickets guys, I’m no fob) and just chilled with two of my favourite girlies at The Chocolate Room- might I just say that their food wasn’t great, and service was bleh, so bleh to you TCR (can’t even be bothered typing it again). We went Pavillion for like a couple of minutes and it already annoyed me. Didn’t drink so going somewhere with drunk people smelling like vomit was the last place I wish to be. Woke up with no headache but a massive craving for bacon and we went for a big breakfast before watching 21 Jump Street. Movie was great, you guys should see it. Channing…. damn babygurl be cool.

Besides that, university work has decided to pile up against me while I continue scream ‘Avada Kedavra’.

Laaaaaaazy. A more sincere post soon, I promise.

What I’m wearing today!

Still Here

I’m alive! I deeply apologise for my lack of posting lately (besides useless posts) but my mind and fingers seem to only know how to reblog these days. In the meantime, before I get all professional and serious, here’s a dodgey outfit post on what I’m wearing today. It’s been raining all week and today has been the first day that’s sunny! Hooray!

Don’t worry, I have a meaningful post coming up very soon.

Today, I finally found a salon that has a OPI Matte colour, and of course I tried it! It’s definitely different- makes me feel like my nails are dry. It’s quite hard to handle actually, you’re not allowed to use drying products or hand lotions with Matte on and it doesn’t last as long as their normal Lacquer.

Above, is look I put together in preparation of a wedding in under 2 weeks. I love weddings, but to my disappointment, this wedding will be quite casual and so my original uber-formal outfit has turned to this. What do you reckon? Personally, I’m rethinking the dark navy, maybe going to go for a lighter grey..

Nevertheless, I’m loving my nails and this asymmetrical skirt! Being short, it’s hard to pull off a long skirt, which is why I can never wear maxis but this doesn’t look too bad. It actually makes me look taller.. or is it just me?

I spent all day watching new episodes of Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries resulting me with a desk full of things to do and nothing getting done. I think there should be a degree in Bachelor of Procrastination.

Good Life

If you haven’t heard this cover of Good Life by OneRepublic, you’re missing out. This song has been on repeat for a couple of days and I think my mom secretly hopes my Macbook would freeze due to over played song because I’m pretty sure she’s sick of hearing it when I’m in the shower, early in the morning, late at night..

As promised, photos of my adventure yesterday from moving houses. My uncle’s new house at Breakfast Point is quite a beauty.

Yep, it’s not your eyes. That is the view of the city in both day/night versions taken for ya. And next to it, you can see the Harbour Bridge to its full capacity. But wait, there’s more!

Open dining/kitchen/lounge to the balcony is a mighty plus. The view is pretty amazing, and the atmosphere is so peaceful. Think that’s all? Please.

Even the hallway is grand. I felt like I was entering a fake out-of-the-magazine hallway. Or like a hotel hallway. Zzz.

And as promised, a photo of me wearing my newest purchase from ASOS. And yes, that’s me playing with my cutest/favourite baby cousin Raydon. I think he thinks I’m 5 years old or something.

Sail Me Away

Ahoy! (Is that right?)

Yesterday I had the pleasure to join my friend at his work: Design Tshirts Store Graniph at Pitt St Mall and spent around an hour just roaming around all the designs and folding clothes for him. After spending a solid hour, it was no surprise that I came out with a little something from the store. I’m wearing their Navy Collection and you can see their variety of designs HERE. Their shirts are $40 each but 2 for $70 and 3 for $105. Yes, I know what you’re thinking: “$40 for a shirt? Please!” But, when you see some of the designs, they’re quite amazing. Pssst, thanks Curtis for giving me staff discount. BUT! If you live in Sydney, the two main stores in CBD are in Pitt St Mall and The Galleries above Town Hall Station. Be sure to check them out, because their designs are so unique and quirky. I’ll make sure I’ll photograph some for you next time.

Nevertheless, wearing this outfit definitely makes me want to escape Sydney life and go on a boat (insert song: I’m on a boat) while sipping Martinis and Long Islands and reading some magazine while getting a tan. I’m lacking Vitamin D, someone give me a cheap cruise to go on? Oh well, wearing this out to walk the dog does half the job. But seriously, it’s about time I come out of the darkness from all this Vampire Diaries watching because I’m seriously starting to feel like I have no life.

Hope you guys are having a much better day than I am. So until someone sails me away, back to Vampire Diaries.

The Voice Within

Hype this look HERE (seriously, I never get hyped. So it’s either I’m non existent to Lookbook, or I actually dress horribly…)

Hi guys, it’s been a good solid week since I’ve been on holidays and I’ve done practically nothing productive. Unless you count prancing around in a wizard skirt screaming out lines from Peter Pan and Harry Potter counts then…

This look is dedicated to a dear friend: Curtis and can I just say this skirt is amazing. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it and I needn’t care about the price when this skirt can make you feel like a fearless fairy! Chicwish does an amazing job at this so go and check it out HERE.

In the meantime, I’ve been talking to my fishes whilst eating endless supply of Shapes biscuits. I’m such a social butterfly.

A ruthless social butterfly.

A Windy Wonderland

Hi guys,

Sorry for the lack of posting, I’ve been heck busy with assignments, and yes, I’m still sitting around trying to look normal with a cup of coffee.

Burgundy pompom jumper: Hipster
Blue skirt: Forever 21
Navy blue circle scarf: Yesstyle
Black and brown bag: Yesstyle

This winter has been giving me the huge kick in the balls. It’s windy, overly exaggerated in coldness and just plain grr. Coffee or anything warm only tastes warm for a maximum 5 minutes and texting on my Blackberry is becoming more and more of a challenge with my frozen thumbstickles. The cough that have been inside my throat for the past month has been given a name called Annoying. It makes sense, I say ‘I’ve been having Annoying in my throat all day’ and nearly everyone mishears it as if I’m just complaining about having something annoying in my throat. I think it works well.

In the meantime, university is a massive pain, everyone’s still on holidays and I’m still suffering from I-hate-peak-hour-syndrome. I spend my train time listening to depressing music so I look unapproachable and people won’t tell me to move from my corner. I’m extremely nice, don’t worry.

Navy blue has become a favourite colour for me, especially that scarf. It matches nearly everything I wear, and maybe, just maybe if I had to do a project of wearing one same thing everyday, that would be it.

Money spending has become more of an issue for me and I’m still not getting any income. I’ve applied for 4 jobs until realising I wrote my resume wrong without my date of birth. GREAT. Am I meant to re-apply? Zzzzz.

So this is just a quick update that this blogger is still alive. I haven’t really done my job ever since I got my new website, but hopefully that’ll change after I get more than 5 hours of sleep every night. Writing this post has taken more than the time needed be, and I keep losing my train of thought. Time to sleep. See you soon.

Here, enjoy a retarded Vivian:
